  • Off to Glastonbury? Don’t forget these things!

  • Glastonbury 2017 is fast approaching and it’s time to get all your festival essentials packed and ready to go! You lucky, lucky thing! Glastonbury is without doubt one of the biggest music festivals of the year  and you are going to have an absolute ball! But first things first, let’s get you prepared. Every year thousands upon thousands of people turn up to Worthy Farm with either far more than they need or bearing nothing at all (quite literally!). So make sure you pack as light as you can and for the love of Michael Eavis don’t forget these vital things….

    1. Sun tan lotion

As it currently stands the weather looks like it’s going to be sizzling hot. Even when it’s not necessarily sunny, those UV raves are strong so make sure you protect yourself!

     2. Bags for dirty clothes

Bin liners and carrier bags are an absolute life-saver. Save your nose and put those dirty socks and pants in a dark and non-porous place….

    3. Hand gel

Super handy especially after using the famous portaloos!

    4. A water bottle

You’re going to be doing a lot of walking! Make sure you’ve got a bottle you can use time and time again. There are plenty of taps dotted all over the festival ground and you won’t only save yourself on money and time but you’ll also be cutting down on recycling!

    5. Money

An obvious one but make sure you take cash and keep them hidden in different places in your bag. Socks and glasses cases are ideal spots. There will also be cash machines available at the festival but queues are likely to be long.

    6. A roll mat

Your back will thank you later.

    7. A warm jumper

Despite it being warm in the day, those temperatures are likely to drop at night. To avoid those teeth chattering, make sure you pack at least one thick layer. This might sound excessive, but a woolly hat would also not go amiss. It’ll fold up into nothing and will offer you instant warmth when you need it.

    8. Waterproof

We are in the UK after all. Those rainy showers could happen at any point!

    9. Toiletries

Say goodbye to those hot showers. You’re going to need to take toiletries that will keep you smelling sweet for as long as possible. Wet wipes are a good choice with lots of deodorant and dry shampoo.

    10. Loo roll

Another life saver. There will be lots of trips to the portaloos and they won’t always be stocked up.

    11. Wellies or sturdy boots

If there is even the slightest drop of rain, all that churned up ground will turn into mud in an instant. Wear comfortable and sturdy shoes that will withstand any environment, sticky or dry.

    12. Your ticket

The most important thing. Do. Not. Forget. Your. Ticket.

    13.  Have an amazing time!

Dance like you’ve never danced before, take loads of pictures and lap up every single second of the glorious sunshine. Glastonbury 2017 is going to be unforgettable! Have a lovely, lovely time.
