    The devils tower got its name from the ancient Indians who used to live here. It’s located in Crook County in the USA and was the first national monument in the US in 1906.

    In this natural Park, Royal Natal, you can find one of the most impressive mountain landscapes in the African continent. The natural amphitheatre is one of the most famous places in the park and is over 3 miles long.


    Aoraki National Park

    In the south island of New Zealand you can find the Aoraki National Park which is home to numerous glaciers like Tasman Glacier in Mount Cook.

    Another amazing place to discover in Canada: Banff National Park. It has a very different landscape than what we are used to. With glaciers, ice fields, lakes, waterfalls, forests and the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

    The Huangshan Mountains are located in the south of China and known as a sacred place for the locals. There are so many different routes and paths to wander down and discover your own adventure.

    Between the border of Pakistan and china you can find this natural paradise: K2 aka Mount Godwin-Austen. It’s meant to be one of the most difficult mountains you can climb and there have been many climbers who have tried to reach it but couldn’t make it.

    Mounte Kinabalu is located inside Kinabalu National Park on Borno Island in Malaysia. It’s another place which was declared Patrimony of Humanity in 2000 for its great wealth and botanical diversity.


    Matterhorn, Switzerland

    Matterhorn is an incredible mountain in the Swizz Alps. It’s not as tall as it’s neighbouring mountains but the shape makes it one of the most breath-taking landscapes in the world.

    On the border between Argentina and Chile lies Mount Fitz Roy and the peak is right in the Patagonian ice field. This one is also rather difficult to climb.

    Mount Kailash is a sacred mountain in Tibet, China. Kailash means precious jewel of the snow in Tibetan.


    According to Hindu’s the top of the mountain is home to the god of destruction, however Buddhists think that Buddha Demchock lives there. Thousands of pilgrims travel around this mountain every year but few dare to climb up to the top.

    Paro Valley is another mountain in the Himalayas. Up on the cliff, 700 metres above the valley is the Paro Taktsang valley more popularly known as the tiger’s Nest which leaves us with breath-taking views. You can only get here with a guide but it’s well worth the view.

    Alpamayo mountain is located in the white mountain range in the Peruvian Andes. There are many different ways to reach the summit and a great experience for professional climbers. Unfortunately its one of the areas most affected by global warming and the ice melts more and more each year.
