La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona
La Sagrada Familia is as famous as its architect Antoni Gaudi, who pioneered European modernist architecture. It’s one of the most breath-taking buildings you’ll ever see and will keep you interested for hours. On every tower, frame and statue there will be an abundance of things to marvel at and speculate over. Gaudi died in 1926 leaving the project unfinished. However, thanks to the drawings and donations La Sagrada Familia has received, the cathedral is still being built, one brick at a time.
