Bath is a charming city located in the south-west of England, known for its Georgian architecture, rolling countryside and famous thermal baths. Unlike its neighbouring city Bristol, Bath is a rather calm and peaceful place, with a great range of parks, walks and cycle paths.

Visit the Royal Crescent
The Royal Crescent is a line of traditional Georgian buildings located in the centre of Bath, Somerset. It’s a beautiful place to sit and relax in the park just in front of them.

Take a Dip in a Thermal bath spa
Bath is known for its thermal Baths and in Roman times was the best place to go to enjoy a day in a hot spa; that’s how it got its name. Nowadays you can’t bathe in the roman baths but you can spend the day in a newer, modern spa Thermae Bath Spa which even has a rooftop pool!

Admire the Architecture of Bath Abbey
Bath Abbey is located right in the centre of Bath and its yet another example of great architecture. Entrance is free but its recommended to leave a small donation.

Get Free entry to the Holburne museum
Holburne is a gallery & museum with free entry for all. Inside you can find a wide extension of tapestry, glass and ceramics.

See the city from Alexandra park
Alexandra park is situated in Beechan Cliff, due to being a little above the city, you can get some of the best views of Bath from here! Take a picnic or enjoy an afternoon stroll while admiring the vistas!

Cycle the Two Tunnels circuit
The Coombe Down tunnel used to be a train line but has recently been converted into the UK’s longest cycle tunnel! Follow this 13 mile circular loop out of Bath, through Monkton Coombe and back into the city. Along the way you’ll see some lovely scenery, cycle along the canal and stop for lunch in a country pub.

Stroll around Prior Park Landscape Gardens
Prior Park is a national trust site stretched over 6 miles in total and surrounding a Palladian 18th century house. The gardens also have a great view across the city of Bath and they’re ideal for a family day out.

Explore the Roman Baths & Museum
Although the original Roman Baths are not open for bathing in, you can still explore the roman bath museum and relive this historical attraction.

Cycle or walk along the River Avon
The River Avon connects the city of Bath to Bristol and you can enjoy a lovely walk, cycle or even boat ride along it. If you’re feeling active, rent out some kayaks and see how far you can go!

The Circus and Assembly rooms Bath
Just around the corner from the Royal Crescent you’ll find a full circle of buildings which create The Circus in Bath. Many famous celebrities have lived in these houses over the year’s and despite being partially bombed during the second world war, it’s an iconic piece of architecture which brings many tourists each year.
