When to visit Kos

Kos fulfills the needs of all types of holidaymakers, and depending on what you’re looking for during your trip to this Greek island - it can get very busy in the summer months with both young and old crowds, particularly during the season of July and August. This is why we suggest booking holiday rentals in June because the beaches are quieter, and the temperature averages out at around 23 degrees Celsius. If you want guaranteed sun and warmth, July and August average at around 26 degrees Celsius, although it is not uncommon to see heights of 35 degrees Celsius. The winters are also mild and wet, with rainfall increasing to 147 mm in December from 3mm average. For the cheapest prices in holiday accommodation in combination with good weather, we recommend travelling between in the months of June or September to avoid chances of rainfall.
