When to visit Chamonix

  • Mont Blanc: This is the highest mountain in the Alps and rises 4,808m above sea level. It is popular for skiing and snowboarding and has cable car access from Courmayeur to Chamonix.
  • Aiguille du Midi: Another popular mountain that can be accessed by cable car and can take you close to Mont Blanc. It is approximately 3842pm high. It translates to ‘Needle of the Midday’ in French.

  • Le Brévent: Many people choose to wingsuit fly down into the valley from this mountain, which is located in the Aiguilles Rouges range.
