Best time to book holiday accommodation in the Costa del Sol

The sunshine coast enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate that means that summers are glorious, and the rest of the year isn’t too bad either. It rarely falls below 10 degrees Celsius even during the winter, as it enjoys approximately 325 days of sunshine per year. In terms of comfortable temperatures, we suggest visiting between March and May when the sunshine is in full swing, but it is not too hot nor too uncomfortable. This is a great time to visit if you don’t fancy the rush – you won’t be swarmed with crowds and you’ll still be drenched in sunlight. During this period, temperatures can vary between 14 and 23 degrees Celsius. If you’re looking to reserve a property to rent on Costa del Sol, you will be guaranteed a cool sea breeze which can help massively during the hot summer. During this period, prices are normally at their peak for private holiday rentals, but you will be sure to experience temperatures that rarely fall below 22 degrees Celsius, and heights of up to 29 degrees Celsius during the months of July and August. The months of September, October and November should also be considered as a potential option for holidaymakers. There is still an afterglow of the Spanish summer, but it is less expensive than the high season and less busy. While winter is admittedly cooler, this for some is the perfect time to visit if you’re absolutely desperate to escape colder climes in northern Europe.
