Make yourself comfortable in this charming holiday home and enjoy the special atmosphere of a traditional timber-built house. The interior is characterised by plenty of natural wood, rustic furniture and thoughtful details. Relax on the large corner sofa and spend cosy evenings in front of the impressive open stone fireplace. Prepare your meals in the charming kitchen whilst letting your gaze wander out through the windows to the surrounding greenery. The cosy décor and complete seclusion make the house a special retreat.

Step out onto the large wooden terrace and enjoy the elevated position with sweeping views across the woods to Lake Simmesjön. Take a seat at the long dining table, have breakfast al fresco, or spend peaceful evenings surrounded by nature.
Follow the path down to the lake and use the small jetty for relaxing hours by the water. Several rowing boats are moored at the shore, adding to the idyllic atmosphere.

Explore the wooded and lake-rich surroundings of Länghem on long walks. Take a trip to Torpa Stenhus by the nearby Lake Åsunden and discover the history of this well-preserved medieval castle. You can also visit Borås with its Borås Djurpark zoo, or head to Ulricehamn, where walking trails around Åsunden and a charming town centre make for a varied day trip.

Et voldsomt dejligt sted vi helt sikkert kommer tilbage til. En flaske rødvin og et tyggeben stod som velkomst. Hobitten er som en drøm, dog har jeg lidt ondt i ryggen da jeg er 205cm høj og hytten lever op til sit navn, Hobit stugan...men sikke et fantastisk sted. 10 ud af 10 stjerner herfra.
