This home's the result of a meticulous restoration of a former school building from the early 20th century located in the town of Linares.
The thick stone walls and original wooden beams have been preserved, while the 4-metre-high ceilings and large windows give the home a very special sense of spaciousness and light. The restoration removed later additions and restored the building to its original appearance.
At the same time, the team incorporated contemporary architectural elements to enhance the building’s original qualities.
You can stay in one of the two nearly symmetrical flats, both featuring a spacious layout and materials that bear witness to the building’s century-old history. Both apartments feature their own large terrace facing a stunning mountain landscape.
Here you can gather outdoors and enjoy the extra space the terraces add to your stay.
The terraces are a natural extension of the spacious interior areas. Vega Beach is about 5 km away: a 2-km-long wild beach.
Ribadesella, with Santa Marina Beach, is about 7 km away.
In addition, less than a half-hour drive away, you’ll find charming fishing villages like Lastres and Llanes, and the cities of Oviedo, Gijón, and Santander are about an hour away via the motorway.
