It comprises a 27 m² living room, a fitted kitchen, four bedrooms, two shower rooms, and a garden of around 477 m². Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels included – we’re just waiting for you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 27 m² living room with a TV, a sofa and a dining area
- A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob…
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: a queen-size bed (160×200)
- A study
- A separate toilet
- A bathroom with a shower
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 3: with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 4: one king-size bed (180×200) and a single sofa bed
- A bathroom with shower
- A separate toilet
For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, iron and ironing board.
Outside:
- A private, heated swimming pool, 4×8m, fitted with a cover on rails.
The swimming pool is open from May to the end of September. - A private garden of 477 m², partially fenced and south-facing. - A 20 m² terrace, south-facing and furnished for enjoying sunny days (currently being fitted out). The house is ideally situated in Avançon, in a very pleasant setting.
You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market... Things to do: - Reims, around 30 km away: explore the town, the cathedral and the champagne cellars - Rethel, around 10 km away: starting point for cycle routes, cycling, the ‘capital of boudin blanc’, river stop - Charleville-Mézières, around 40 km away: explore the town centre, the Arthur Rimbaud Museum, the Ardennes Museum, and sample local specialities Events: - Cabaret Vert Charleville-Mézières, 20–23 August - Reims Music Walks, mid-June - World Puppet Festival, Charleville-Mézières (every two years, early September) - Fêtes Johanniques, Reims (procession, parade, etc.), late May Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (3 spaces) As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful: - Nearest railway station: Rethel, approximately 11 km away - Nearest airport: Châlons-Vatry, 100 km away Other notes: - Bed linen and towels are included. - Pets are not permitted in the accommodation. - End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests.
