The Moroccan Bell Tent is a characterful retreat set within the rural surroundings of Hollington, Hampshire.
Nestled within a thoughtfully arranged glamping site, surrounded by woodland and open countryside, it is perfectly suited to couples, friends, and families seeking an outdoor-focused stay—especially those travelling with dogs.
With plenty of open space and scenic walks right on the doorstep, it’s an ideal choice for guests looking to enjoy the countryside with their four-legged companions.
The tent also features a woodburning stove, barbecue, fire pit, private outdoor area, and welcomes pets, making it a cosy and inviting base throughout the seasons. Parking is close to the tent, allowing you to arrive with ease and step straight into the setting, where tall trees frame the site and wildlife often drifts past, from ducks and peacocks crossing the grass to birds moving through the canopy overhead.
Drawing back the canvas entrance reveals a generously sized interior styled with a Moroccan-inspired feel, where layered rugs, cushions and upcycled furniture create a relaxed lounge-like atmosphere, and hand-crafted details made from woodland logs add character to the space.
The sleeping area is arranged with a double bed and 4 fold-out beds for children 17 and under, while the woodburning stove sits at the heart of the tent, glowing softly as you boil the kettle or settle in after a day outdoors.
Meals become part of the experience, with a covered outdoor cooking area close by where you can use the gas stove charcoal barbecue, preparing simple food beneath shelter while staying connected to the surroundings.
A private shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC is on hand right next door, making it easy to freshen up after muddy walks or long days exploring.
Outside, there is seating area and fire pit, and evenings naturally draw guests outdoors, where flames flicker, marshmallows toast and stargazing becomes part of the routine, helped by the dark skies that stretch above the woodland.
A communal fridge and freezer and a shared pot washing area support the easygoing nature of the site, while nearby amenities including a local shop and pubs ensure essentials and relaxed dining are always within reach by walking.
Winding woodland paths invite gentle exploration close to the tent, where towering trees create a maze-like feel and quiet encounters with deer, foxes and the site’s resident animals add to the sense of being immersed in nature.
