Live like royalty at the foot of the Black Forest! Welcome to Colombi Hotel, one of the few remaining luxury-class city hotels that is still run personally by the owners themselves. Although a hotel cannot replace your home, we see to it that your individual needs are met and you feel at home with us. Located on the outskirts of the picturesque Old Town of Freiburg, the Colombi is an ideal starting point for a stroll or a trip to the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl, Markgräflerland or the nearby Alsace region. Parking at the hotel is also available for a fee (28 EUR / night / room).
Due to repair work our pool is closed from 11 - 18 January 2026.
The sauna, steam bath and gym are opened as usual.
Important payment information and other conditions
No-show / cancellation fees apply for room reservations. Exceptions to this rule are trade fairs and special events. Individual reservations: (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 21 days in advance: No charge · 14 to 21 days in advance: 40% · 7 to 14 days in advance: 60% · Within 7 days before arrival: 80%. Group reservations: (5 rooms or more) (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 42 days in advance: No charge · 21 to 41 days in advance: 50% · 14 to 21 days in advance: 60% · Within 14 days before arrival: 80%. The following cancellation conditions apply for individual and group reservations for trade fairs and special events: (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 42 days in advance: No charge · 21 to 42 days in advance: 50% · Within 21 days before arrival: 80%. The % figures are calculated according to the agreed prices as outlined in Section I. If the room can be resold, the costs are reduced according to Section 3 of these conditions. The customer/contractual partner owes the costs stated in the terms and conditions. Cancellations of contracts are only legally effective when confirmed by the hotel in writing. This does not affect the calculation of no-show / cancellation fees.
