Enjoy a break in the much sought after seaside resort of Guidel at 'Côté Mer', a B&B run by Claudie and Bernard, 15 minutes' walk from both the town centre and the beach.
Guidel is on the border between South Morbihan and Finistère with the sea to the south and the River Laïta to the west.
The resort is a surf spot with 5km of fine sandy beaches for swimming, boating, relaxing in the sunshine or enjoying some of the many water sports on offer like sailing, windsurfing, rowing, kayaking and stand-up paddle.
Bernard is a fishing enthusiast and is always happy to give advice on salmon fishing on the Laïta ! There are numerous walks on well-marked paths along the coast or by the river.
Don't miss a visit to the Loch de Guidel, a designated wildlife conservation area and the many and varied art and craft events in the town during the summer including 'Arts dans la Rue' : an exhibition/sale of works by amateur artists, the 'Festival Polignac' : classical music and jazz concerts and 'Les 7 Chapelles en Arts' : exhibitions and concerts in chapels.
The B&B, which is a tasteful blend of ancient and modern, is in a quiet setting halfway between the sea and shops.
It has one ground floor guest room with a seaside décor, double bed and a nautically themed en-suite shower room with WC. The guest room has its own private entrance to ensure tranquility.
Guests can relax and enjoy the sunshine all day long on the private patio or in the pretty, south-facing garden which is not overlooked.
Breakfast is served in the living room or on the patio, weather permitting.

Fuimos recibidos con mucha amabilidad. Las instalaciones estaban impecables en cuanto a limpieza, mobiliario y espacio. Los desayunos muy completos y caseros.Es de resaltar que en todo momento los anfitriones se preocuparon de darnos información turística de los alrededores.

Petit paradis à Guidel, tout confort. Le jardin invite à la détente. Le petit déjeuner invite à la gourmandise. La salle de bain est belle, pratique et confortable. L’accueil de Claudie et Bernard est bienveillant et discret. Tout était parfait.
