The former GDR workshop building and its associated historic 1950s gas station – a former Minol gas station in the GDR – were completely renovated and modernized with great attention to detail in 2025 and converted into holiday apartments.
Today, the accommodations combine stylish modern living comfort with a generous amount of space and an excellent location not far from the historic city center of Naumburg.

The cathedral city of Naumburg enchants with its historical charm, the famous Naumburg Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the idyllic Saale-Unstrut wine region. I warmly welcome you to my holiday apartments, "Zur Alten Tankstelle & Alte Tankstelle," completely renovated in 2025, located in the center of the cathedral city of Naumburg on the Saale River.
The surroundings invite you to take wonderful hikes, discover impressive sights, and get to know the numerous wineries of the region with a wine tasting of excellent Saale-Unstrut wines. The region also offers numerous opportunities for active vacationers.
Boat trips along the Saale River, past vineyards, castles, and idyllic landscapes, quickly become an unforgettable experience.
For cyclists, the Saale Cycle Path is one of the most attractive and varied river cycle paths in Germany, offering ideal conditions for extensive cycling tours through the Burgenland district. Whether by water, bicycle, or on foot – along the paths, numerous cozy inns and restaurants invite you to linger and enjoy regional specialties. If you prefer a quieter pace, you can reach the city center of Naumburg in about a 5-minute walk for a leisurely stroll.
Nature lovers can reach the Arboretum Rosengarten city park and the Waldschlosswiesen meadows in about a 20-minute walk.
There, the Waldrestaurant Bürgergarten also invites you to relax with hearty home-style cooking. And for sauna and swimming enthusiasts, the bulabana sports and leisure pool Naumburg is just the thing.
It offers year-round swimming fun, a spacious sauna landscape, and various wellness and leisure activities, and is only about a 15-minute walk from the holiday apartment.
