Nordhorn is a town in Lower Saxony, also known as the “Water City.” The town takes its name from the River Vechte, which flows through it and feeds numerous canals and waterways. These waterways shape the town’s character and make Nordhorn a popular destination for cycling and boating. Nordhorn’s town centre is situated on an island surrounded by water.
