This gorgeous countryside escape for 6 features a shared pool, BBQ and plenty of outdoor space. Nestled in the hills, just outside the village of Pian dell'Olmino, between Siena (a 35-minute drive) and Florence (a 1-hour drive), the property provides easy access to many of Tuscany's historic towns and wineries of the wider Chianti region. The apartment is arranged across 2 floors and is one of 4 apartments within a medieval townhouse.
Its defining feature is a tower bedroom tucked inside the oldest part of the building, a watchtower.
Reached by a charming wooden staircase, it offers breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside and an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. On the 1st floor, the dining and living area opens onto an entire wall of original bicrome stonework from the old Pieve — a striking piece of living history.
Here, guests can relax on the sofa bed and watch TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with local ingredients, and is fitted with a dining table, a Moka coffee machine, a Cooker Hob and a fridge freezer. Outside guests can enjoy the use of a shared panoramic terrace that's furnished with a table, chairs, and an umbrella; the perfect setting for a slow breakfast, an evening aperitivo, or a quiet night under the stars.
There's also a shared swimming pool with countryside views, a BBQ and a garden that's ideal for reading, sunbathing, or unwinding. The interior is carefully furnished in rustic Tuscan style with many original features, including a cool terracotta tiled floor and wood-beamed ceilings.
It feels like stepping into a different era, with all the comforts of today. There's also a laundry room with shared washing machines (near the pool). Please note that for larger groups, the property connects to Fiordaliso (ID 13924) through a private internal door to create a two-apartment solution for families or groups of up to 8. Sleeping Bedroom 1: This bedroom is situated on the 1st floor and furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: The air-conditioned 2nd bedroom is reached via a wooden staircase and is situated in the original watchtower.

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön, ist sehr gut gepflegt. Man kann von dort aus sehr gut die Toskana erkunden. Eine besondere Atmosphäre.
