The Achensee Apartments boast a very quiet location surrounded by meadows, just a 5-minute walk from the center of Maurach and a 10-minute walk from Lake Achensee.
Families particularly appreciate the location, and the wall-to-wall panoramic glazing in each living area offers magnificent views of the mountain landscape and the lake. All apartments feature a spacious balcony or terrace with wonderful mountain views.
Each apartment includes a separate bathroom and fully equipped kitchens. Fast Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the building, as is free parking.
All apartments are equipped with modern flat-screen TVs with satellite reception and your private Netflix login access. In summer, you can look forward to hiking, swimming in the crystal-clear Lake Achensee, sporty mountain biking, or relaxed family cycling on flat bike paths along the lake. In winter, cross-country ski trails start directly in front of the house; the Rofan, Karwendel, and Christlum ski areas are quickly accessible. The nearby "Atoll Leisure Centre" with its adventure pool and wellness area invites you to relax and enjoy throughout the year. The two-room apartments on the ground floor are well-suited for wheelchair users in the summer. Inntal Autobahn A12 (toll sticker required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee-Bundesstraße B181, after 7 kilometers you will reach the center of Maurach. A toll-free journey via the Achen Pass or Bad Tölz is also possible.
From Munich to the motorway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achen Pass or Bad Tölz – across the border via Achenkirch continuing to Maurach. Arrival by public transport: Take the train to Jenbach station.
From there, take the public bus to Lake Achensee.

Etwas abgelegen (ruhige Lage); trotzdem nur 5min zu Fuß ins Zentrum (SPAR, M-Preis, Cafés, Restaurants).
Tagsüber das Pfeifen der Dampflok der Achenseebahn.
15min Fußweg zum Achensee.
Die Unterkunft ist für Familien mit Kindern gedacht. Das wussten wir vorher nicht. Der Lärmpegel im Haus war tagsüber teilweise extrem, aber wer will schon intervenieren? (Haben Sie etwa was gegen Kinder!?)
Die Hausverwaltung KeyOne, die in Innsbruck sitzt, sollte an Kommunikation und Kundenfreundlichkeit arbeiten.
Die Wohung ist prima ausgestattet und in einer ruhigen Lage.

Für unsere Unternehmungen, Rad fahren, wandern und schwimmen, war der Ausgangspunkt ideal. Das im Hauflur ausgelegte Informationsmaterial hat uns bei den Planungen für unsere Unternehmungen sehr geholfen.
Damit man für die Fahrräder den Keller nutzen kann, ist ein Brett zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Brett ist zu glatt und ein bisschen zu schmal. Es war nur sehr schwer möglich, die E-Bikes über den steilen Kellerabgang nach oben zu transportieren. Das Brett müsste mit einem rauhen Belag ausgestattet sein.
