Koglbauer is located in a dream setting at an altitude of 1036m, only about a 10-minute walk from the famous Hexenwasser.
The drive from the village takes about 10 minutes by car; the road from Söll can be considered an ideal warm-up route by mountain bike. Our farm has been managed for over 400 years with approximately 25 head of cattle and was rebuilt in recent years.
This allowed us to align the holiday apartments' functionality and design with the latest standards.
We have endeavoured to harmonize tradition and modernity. Amidst pristine nature, you will rediscover your inner peace and serenity, whether while walking, hiking, mountaineering, and biking in summer or skiing, ski touring, or snowboarding in winter, in Austria's largest interconnected ski area, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. Our farm has been run as an organic farm for years and is certified as such.
In the farming area, there is a wide variety of different animals, and for those particularly interested and reasonably skilled, there is also the opportunity to help out in the barn and with haymaking in the summer. Bread roll service with bacon and cheese platters can be booked on-site. Check-in: 3:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM In Söll, drive towards and past the valley/cable car station.
Afterwards, you will find a small tunnel on the right side, which you must drive through.
Then you will reach a barrier that is closed from May to October.
Should the barrier be closed, you will receive a token for it at the valley station.
Afterwards, follow the road and always keep right at intersections – this will automatically lead you to Kogl-Bauer. ATTENTION: The navigation system only shows the correct route from the Söll valley station.
