Manarola is one of the most iconic villages of the Cinque Terre and a popular destination on the Ligurian coast.
Famous for its colorful houses overlooking the sea, its quaint alleys, and its authentic atmosphere, the town offers a unique setting amidst cliffs, terraced vineyards, and views of the Mediterranean.
The village is particularly renowned for its sunsets, its small natural harbor where you can swim from the rocks, and the hiking trails that connect the Cinque Terre, including the famous stretch of the Via dell'Amore (Love Trail) towards Riomaggiore. Major attractions include the Church of San Lorenzo, the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the harbor, the trails of the Cinque Terre National Park, and the numerous local food and wine experiences, with a particular focus on local wines such as Sciacchetrà. Manarola is also a strategic base for visiting the other Cinque Terre villages, both by train and by sea. Manarola train station, about a 5-minute walk from the apartment, provides access to La Spezia Centrale in about 10 minutes, while Genoa is about 1 hour and 40 minutes away. Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport is about 70-80 km away, while Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport is about 100 km away. If you're traveling by car, the property does not have a reserved parking area and it's not possible to drive directly to the entrance. We recommend the Posella car park, about 1 km from the apartment.

Everything was just as pictured and we enjoyed our stay! Check in was easy and it was super easy to locate. The only complaint was that we were not given instructions on how to turn on the hot water. Other than that, we had a great experience!!
Nettes Apartment versteckt in den Gässchen über Manarola.
