Jünkerath is situated in the upper Kyll valley at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level in the Volcanic Eifel and belongs to the Gerolstein municipality. The vacation apartment is suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Here you will find everything from A (as in Apothecary) to Z (as in Dentist), including a shopping center, branches of major discounters, a bakery with a cafe, a gas station, and a doctor's office within walking distance. Approximately 500 meters from your doorstep, you will find numerous hiking trails in unspoiled nature, as well as the Kylltal cycle path, which connects to the Ahr Valley cycle path.
An indoor pool, sauna, and solarium are about 200 meters from the vacation apartment.
The Waldstausee lake for fishing can be reached after about 800 meters. Active holidays, sports and fitness, Nordic walking, a gym, a tennis court, and a large children's playground (directly on the Kyll river) are all available in Jünkerath. We provide hiking maps for our guests. Pets are not allowed. Underfloor heating throughout the entire vacation apartment, powered by a heat pump. Electricity costs will be settled based on consumption at the end of your stay (€0.50 / kWh). To promote regional tourism, overnight guests in accommodation facilities within the Gerolstein municipality have been paying a visitor's tax (local tax) of €0.75 per person per night since January 1, 2024.
