The history of the Allied landings is also very much a part of Asnelles. You can visit the America Gold Beach Museum to learn more about the events that took place on this beach on June 6, 1944. The museum displays artefacts and equipment used by soldiers during the landing.

You’ll find restaurants serving traditional Norman dishes, crêperies, cafés, and bars where you can eat and relax.
