A very bright and welcoming house with breathtaking views of the Durance Valley, the Cirque du Morgon, and the Les Orres ski resort (30 minutes away). Just a 7-minute drive from Embrun, 10 minutes from the lake, and at the gateway to the Écrins National Park.
This spacious house can accommodate 8 people in its 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with panoramic mountain views.
The chalet offers the perfect setting to relax after a day of activities and allows you to admire the view from its balcony and various lawn areas. PLEASE NOTE: There is a cat in the house! Mouss is very independent, affectionate, and loves children, but he does not get along with other animals. We are very mindful of our energy consumption and use solar power as much as possible.
Recycling and composting facilities are available for your use. Level access from the covered parking area in the entrance vestibule. You will appreciate the comfort of a spacious and fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room, and a large, very comfortable living room with an open fireplace.
A separate toilet is located on this level. A mezzanine overlooking the living room features a TV area and a relaxation space with mountain views.
A desk is available for those who need it, and Wi-Fi and fiber optic internet are provided.
An additional bed can be provided in this room upon request. On the garden level: 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm) with a shower and sink, 3 bedrooms (queen bed 160x200cm) with mountain views, a bathroom (walk-in shower and bathtub), and a toilet. Below the bedrooms is a workshop with space for storing bicycles; tools are available for repairs. Outside: terraces and lawns with garden furniture.
The property is not fenced and has several steps; young children should be supervised.
As outdoor enthusiasts with extensive knowledge of the region, we would be delighted to guide you in your activities. Non-smoking house.

The house is good.
Our contact with the host changed after we left. There were some minor issues, which had to be solved. The host could only repeat his own views and did neglect our reaction. We decided to give in, to avoid an unpleasant argument. This gave us a bitter aftertaste.

Excellent séjour! Le chalet est très confortable, lumineux, très propre, situé au calme avec une magnifique vue sur la montagne et le lac. Très bon accueil par Florence et Éric, les propriétaires. Je recommande vivement cette location.
