Welcome to the "Les Platanes" gîte in Liny-devant-Dun. This charming, fully renovated gîte boasts a modern and welcoming style, ideal for a peaceful stay in the heart of northern Meuse.
The accommodation combines contemporary comfort with a cozy atmosphere: soft-toned walls, natural materials, and carefully chosen lighting. There are plenty of activities to enjoy around the gîte for the whole family: - Tourist Activities - Walks along the Meuse River and exploring typical villages (Dun-sur-Meuse and surrounding areas). - Visit the Cité de la Bière (Beer City) in Stenay (tastings and museum) and local markets. - Montmédy and its citadel, picturesque villages, and panoramic views. - Sports Activities - Hiking and mountain biking trails on country lanes and hedged paths. - Kayaking/canoeing on the Meuse River (calm sections for paddling and fishing). - Nature walks and outings, horseback riding with local providers, and running along the riverbanks. - Historical activities - World War I memorial sites (museums and memorials accessible throughout the department). - Hillocks, former battlefields, and ossuaries: routes for history and remembrance enthusiasts. - Local museums retracing regional history and rural life in Lorraine/Meuse.
