The terrace is the heart of the house, where you can watch the sun rise over the sea, enjoy breakfast while gazing at the nearby islands and two active volcanoes, read in the shade, and dine under the stars. The spaces are simple and well-maintained, featuring natural materials and Mediterranean details: the blue of the doors, stone, wood, and majolica tiles.
The house consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen equipped with an antique decorative Aeolian oven, and a bathroom.
The rooms have direct access to the veranda in the typical Aeolian style. A spacious veranda and the garden are at your exclusive disposal.
The house is located halfway between the port and the island’s summit: an ideal location for alternating mountain hikes with time at the sea. The walk from the port takes about an hour; upon request, luggage can be transported by mule. Alicudi is the wildest of the Aeolian Islands, where time seems to have stood still.
No roads, cars, or scooters: only ancient mule trails to explore on foot.
