7 Athol Terrace is a well-presented house in Dover, Kent.
Offering inviting spaces for families and friends seeking a relaxed base, this abode boasts a football table, proximity to Kent Downs National Landscape and nearby amenities.
When you arrive at 7 Athol Terrace, you will find the property set at the base of the White Cliffs with the ferry terminal positioned across the road to the front.
As you approach the front door, the townhouse rises over four floors with a exterior that hints at the space and character found within.
Push open the door and step into the hallway where you can hang coats with ease before beginning your journey through the property.
Head into the sitting room and take a moment to unwind as you sink into the sofa, settle into the armchair or switch on the television.
This room creates the perfect introduction to the house, especially with the football table at your side inviting you to start a friendly match the moment you arrive.
Continue downstairs to the basement level and enter the twin bedroom where you can place your bags, tuck clothes neatly into the adjoining dressing room and settle into a peaceful corner of the house.
This floor offers a sense of privacy and works wonderfully for guests who appreciate a quiet space to retreat to at the end of the day. Moving back up to the ground floor, you will find the utility area which offers a washing machine, basin and WC, allowing you to freshen up after beach trips or long walks along the coast.
Step outside from here into the small enclosed yard, a gravelled space where you can breathe in the sea air and enjoy a short break outside before continuing your exploration of the house.
Head up to the first floor where the shower room provides a refreshing space with a walk in shower, basin and WC, ideal for recharging after time spent exploring the shoreline or wandering through Dover’s bustling streets.
Make your way into the kitchen where you can prepare meals using the fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
This is the heart of your culinary experience, offering everything you need for leisurely breakfasts or evening meals shared after a day of adventure.
Next door, the stylish dining room welcomes you with its generous bay windows looking out across the Port of Dover.
The view brings constant movement and character, creating the perfect backdrop for conversations around the table.
Climb once more to the top floor where two bedrooms await.
The smaller double features panelled walls that offer gentle charm, making it a restful space for a calm night’s sleep.
The larger double provides hanging space for belongings and looks out towards the port, giving you a unique vantage point over the ships and harbour lights as you wind down for the evening.
Once outside, you will find yourself perfectly placed to explore Dover’s shops, eateries and beach which are all within easy reach.
The surrounding area offers further adventure with Whitfield inland and Folkestone along the coast, both bringing different flavours to your stay.
Within an hour of the property, you can discover some remarkable attractions.
Dover Castle invites you to wander through centuries of history as you explore the medieval fortifications, descend into the wartime tunnels and gaze across the Channel from the castle walls.
Samphire Hoe offers a landscape unlike any other, created from chalk at the base of the cliffs, where you can stroll along sea edged paths, watch the waves roll in and spot wildlife along the way. Folkestone Harbour Arm brings a vibrant seaside experience where you can wander along the refurbished walkway, enjoy waterside food stalls and soak in lively music and coastal views. ust a short drive away you’ll find the charming village of St Margaret’s at Cliffe, nestled along the coastal road between Deal and Dover.
This historic village is made up of three distinct parts: the main village centre, located about three-quarters of a mile from the sea; the residential area of Nelson Park further inland; and the stunning St Margaret’s Bay, which sits dramatically below the cliffs near South Foreland.
With its peaceful lanes, cliff-top views and picturesque bay, it’s the perfect place to experience the quieter, more enchanting side of Dover.
From the bay, guests can enjoy one of the most beautiful walks on the Kent coast — a scenic 40-minute stroll along the historic Saxon Shore Way to South Foreland Lighthouse.
The path follows the cliff tops, offering breathtaking views across the English Channel and the White Cliffs.
On a clear day when the sea stretches endlessly to the horizon, if you're lucky, you might even see the French coastline With the cliffs behind you, the ferries before you and a wealth of experiences close at hand, 7 Athol Terrace offers a wonderfully placed and memorable base for discovering the character of Kent’s coastline.

Excellent location! just a few minutes walk from the beach promenade, Dover Castle and the white cliffs. Also close to the retail stores. We had a great stay and will surely love to come and stay here again.
