Indulgence Fishing Lodge is a welcoming single-storey lodge resting in the popular Lincolnshire village of Tattershall.
Set close to the river and overlooking the fishing lake, it provides a comfortable base for families and friends seeking a relaxing break near Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape.
Parking the car beside Fairways 22, you arrive in a peaceful part of Tattershall Lakes where the lodge sits quietly with generous decking stretching out towards the water.
As you step onto the boards, you are met with stunning views of the lake, a calm backdrop that sets the pace for your stay.
The outdoor space feels ready for slow mornings and relaxing evenings, with the inviting sunken square hot tub, rattan table and chairs and sunbeds arranged for easy unwinding.
Anglers can wander straight down to the water’s edge and make use of the private fishing peg with direct access to Osprey Fishing Lake, giving you a quiet spot only moments from the door.
Stepping inside, you enter a bright open-plan living space where the kitchen, dining area and sitting room flow together.
Cream fixtures add warmth to the kitchen, and the layout makes it easy to prepare meals while chatting with others.
You can pause at the breakfast bar and settle onto the two barstools, easing into the slower rhythm of holiday time.
The space is practical yet welcoming, with the island forming a natural gathering point.
Move towards the dining area, and you find a table ready for shared meals and long conversations.
The living area offers two comfortable sofas, and the sofa bed provides flexibility for families or friends travelling together.
Light spills through the opening double doors, encouraging you to drift between indoors and the decking as the day unfolds.
A Smart TV sits nearby for quiet evenings, but the view often captures more attention than any screen.
The twin bedroom is a peaceful retreat with two full size single beds, where you can unpack into two wardrobes and settle your things neatly for the days ahead.
A large full window brings the outdoors in, and the window seat invites guests to pause and enjoy the scenery.
The main bathroom sits close by, offering a bath with shower over, basin and WC for convenient everyday use. The master bedroom sits at the far end of the lodge, giving you a quieter space to unwind.
You can settle into the armchair with a book or simply relax before bed. Clothing and belongings fit easily into the storage, and the en suite offers a private place to refresh with a separate shower, basin and WC, giving guests comfort and convenience throughout their stay.
Stepping back outside, the decking becomes an easy extension of the living space.
You can wander out with a cup of tea, settle onto a sunbed or enjoy a meal at the outdoor table with the lake stretching out ahead.
With only two other lodges before a peaceful dead end, the setting feels serene throughout the day. Nestling between the Fens and the Wolds in the heart of Lincolnshire, is Tattershall Lakes Country Park, the perfect location to enjoy that special holiday.
Tattershall Park consists of 365 acres offering woodlands, lakes and open spaces along with fantastic sporting opportunities.
There is a 60-acre water skiing and wakeboard lake, a 45-acre jet skiing lake, a cable wakeboard lake, and even three lakes covering all aspects of coarse fishing, two bars, one with lake views, a restaurant, children's play area and an on-site supermarket.
Nearby, Tattershall brings convenience within a gentle stroll with its welcoming pub and local shop.
Beyond the village, Tattershall Castle offers the chance to explore its historic rooms, walk its grounds and admire views across the countryside.
Aviation enthusiasts can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre to see historic aircraft up close and hear the stories behind them.
Woodhall Spa provides tree-lined streets to wander, a vintage cinema rooted in local charm and woodland walks that offer relaxed moments among nature.
