Sea, beaches, and water sports: Swim and relax at the local pebble beach Jaz directly in Preko, and take a short boat or kayak ride to nearby small islands and coves such as Galovac for clearer, quieter swimming. Use Preko’s marina and local agencies for kayaking, jet‑ski rentals, SUP, diving, and boat tours to nearby islands or the Kornati archipelago. Nature, hiking, and cycling: Walk or cycle along coastal paths and olive‑grove trails that criss‑cross Ugljan, with marked routes and viewpoints that lead from Preko inland toward hilltops and old stone walls.
