The Casita is a quiet and self-contained retreat within Abrazzo, our boutique retreat where simplicity, silence and privacy shape the experience.
Tucked away behind the main house on the private grounds of Abrazzo, the Casita is a peaceful guesthouse for those who seek calm, nature and space. The Casita was once the caretaker's house of the estate and has been thoughtfully restored as an independent retreat.
Surrounded by trees and with views over the Mediterranean Sea, this is a place where life naturally slows down. Situated at approximately 200 meters above sea level, the Casita enjoys open views across the coastline and the surrounding landscape.
Days begin with birdsong and soft light filtering through the trees, and end with the gentle colors of the sun setting over the sea. The Casita is a fully independent guesthouse of approximately 45 m², ideal for two people.
Compact, warm and comfortable, it is perfectly suited for a relaxed stay in complete tranquility. Inside you will find a living area with an open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with: * Oven * Dishwasher * Fridge-freezer * Nespresso machine * Washing machine (discreetly integrated into the kitchen) The sleeping area features a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm) and is beautifully quiet, offering a restful retreat at the end of the day.
The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet, practical and carefully designed. Air conditioning, heating and fiber-optic Wi-Fi ensure comfort in every season, making the Casita suitable not only for holidays but also for calm and focused remote work. The private outdoor space The Casita features a generous private terrace of approximately 70 m², furnished with: * Dining table and chairs * Weber BBQ * Sun loungers * Comfortable lounge seating beneath the shade of the trees The terrace offers beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea and is the perfect place for outdoor meals, morning coffee in the shade, or simply enjoying the quiet with a good book and a glass of wine as the day unfolds.
The lounge area beneath the trees creates a naturally cool and peaceful spot for afternoon siestas or moments of reflection. Life on Abrazzo From the Casita you step directly onto the grounds of Abrazzo, where several quiet corners and wellness areas are spread across the estate: * Swimming pool * Hot tub * Sauna * Bali bed * Tiki bar * Pétanque court * Vegetable garden These areas are shared with us and our guests and together create a relaxed and natural atmosphere where everyone can find their own peaceful place. The swimming pool is usually closed from November until the end of April, depending on the weather.
During this period, the hot tub and sauna are available for a small contribution covering wood, bathrobes, water and maintenance. Due to the natural height differences on the property, Abrazzo is less suitable for guests with limited mobility. The surroundings Abrazzo is located in a quiet and exclusive residential area, surrounded by detached villas and directly bordering the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park.
Privacy comes naturally here, with neighbors at a generous distance. Within just a few minutes you reach: * Three golf courses * The beach and the Mediterranean Sea (about 7 minutes by car) * Direct access to natural parks for hiking and mountain biking The Casita lies next to a golf course and in a region that is ideal for golfers, cyclists and nature lovers.
Thanks to the Mediterranean climate, golf can be enjoyed all year round.
Catalonia has more than 55 golf courses, many of them within easy reach. Barcelona is about 40 minutes away by car or train, allowing you to combine a day in the city with a quiet return to Abrazzo in the evening.
The Costa Brava begins just 35 km away, offering rugged coastlines, hidden coves and charming villages. For wine and gastronomy lovers, the nearby regions of Alella, Empordà and Penedès offer exceptional experiences.
The historic thermal baths of Caldes d'Estrac, dating back to Roman times, are also just a short drive away. Practical & atmosphere We created Abrazzo as a place of calm, nature and simple quality.
We are a Dutch couple who have been living in Spain for over ten years, and we share the property with our dogs, cats and chickens, which provide fresh eggs every day.
Our dogs roam freely on the property and are friendly and social.
It is important that guests feel comfortable around animals. Abrazzo is accessed via a forest track of approximately 500 meters.
A car is essential.
Free parking is available on or next to the property. We welcome guests who seek tranquility, nature and quality.
Parties, loud noise or disruptive behavior do not fit the spirit of Abrazzo.
The Casita is suitable for a maximum of two guests. As Abrazzo is located in a protected natural area, open fires are not permitted. Closing The Casita at Abrazzo is not about luxury in excess, but about luxury in simplicity. A place to slow down.
