The surroundings are characterized by wide fields, green meadows, small patches of forest, and close proximity to the Kubitzer Bodden. Here you will find deep tranquility and nature-oriented relaxation.
The ideal starting point for excursions, hikes, and bike tours. Surfers and kitesurfers will find excellent conditions at the nearby campsite in Ummanz. The water is about 400 meters away.
The nearest bathing spots in Waase and Lieschow are approximately a 10-minute drive away.
Other popular beaches are located in Prora, Glowe, Binz, Göhren, Baabe, and Altefähr, to name just a few. In Gingst and Samtens, about a 10-minute drive away, you will find a supermarket and a bakery for fresh rolls and other purchases. A bicycle rental, restaurants, and a pharmacy are located in Gingst.
