The fully furnished guest flat for two to three people is located in the green south of Duisburg and is just a stone's throw from the Rhine and the Rhine promenade.
The flat is located on the ground floor of a historic Art Nouveau building, was freshly renovated in 2025, measures approx. 55 square metres and offers three rooms plus bathroom.
The living and sleeping areas are separated by a cosy, communal hallway.
The living area on the left-hand side of the hallway comprises a cosy living room with a sofa corner (including a sleeping function for a third person), flat-screen TV and bookshelves with an open passageway to the eat-in kitchen.
The eat-in kitchen has a dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette.
The kitchen equipment includes an electric cooker, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, two coffee machines (filter and pad machine), toaster, cooking utensils.
There is plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery.
An additional foldable desk on castors can be used either in the living room or the eat-in kitchen.
The sleeping area to the right of the hallway consists of a bedroom with a king-size bed (180 x 200 cm, two separate mattresses), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps and a directly adjoining en-suite bathroom with a large shower with low entry and swing door, WC, washbasin with cupboards and large mirror and hairdryer.
Bed linen and towels are included.
In the communal garden, guests have their own small area below the living room window with garden furniture.
Smoking is also permitted here.
There is ample free public parking available on the traffic-calmed street.
If you bring your own bicycles, they can be parked in the hallway by prior arrangement.
The Rhine promenade with benches and walking opportunities is less than 50 metres from the accommodation.
The Sechs Seen-Platte, the Wedau sports park and the Tiger and Turtle landmark are also nearby and can be reached in a short time by car or public transport.
The nearest tram stop (line 903) and bus stop (line 940) are approx. 700 metres away on foot.
From there you can reach Duisburg city centre and Duisburg main station, from where there are direct connections to Düsseldorf or Düsseldorf airport and the rest of the Ruhr region (Essen, Bochum, Dortmund).
Alternatively, the Düsseldorf trade fair centre can also be reached by bus and tram.
It is also not far to the trade fair centre in Essen.
In the quiet district in the south of Duisburg, all relevant facilities for daily needs can be reached within a relatively short distance (a car is nevertheless recommended).
There are supermarkets, bakeries, pizzerias and, as a highlight, a very good ice cream parlour just a few minutes' walk away.
The friendly hosts, who also live in the house, welcome guests on arrival and are happy to provide tips and recommendations, for example for restaurants or sightseeing.
Please note a special feature of this holiday accommodation: The hallway, which separates the living and sleeping areas, is also used by the hosts, who live on the first floor, as access.
Both areas can of course be locked separately for guests.
Please also note: Although the flat is on the ground floor, it is not barrier-free as there are three steps to the front door.
