The Wieken-Huus holiday home on the North Sea coast is located in Wesermarsch, opposite Wilhelmshaven.
Here we provide an initial impression of our domicile. The spacious, idyllic 700 sqm property, away from the hustle and bustle, offers ample space for children and dogs to play. The Wieken-Huus offers a good basic setup, especially for people with walking disabilities.
Barrier-free access to the front door and terrace.
All doors are 100cm wide, and the bathroom features a walk-in shower with a shower stool and 2 grab bars.
There is also a grab bar next to the toilet.
The mirror is tilted, so styling your hair while sitting is not a problem.
The bathroom has an infrared sauna, and the bathroom door opens outwards for safety.
A washing machine, dryer, drying rack, and iron are also available.
For your safety, smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher are installed, and a first-aid kit is provided. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and reading armchair and features a smart TV and a stereo system.
The dining area offers seating for 6 people at a large table with comfortable chairs.
On cool evenings, you can use the modern wood-burning stove.
There are two bedrooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible.
One bedroom on the lower level has a double bed, and a TV is mounted on the opposite wall.
A small, enclosed wooden staircase (child-safe with a gate) leads up to the loft gallery.
This area has two single beds, ideal as a separate sleeping and play area for children. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality crockery, cutlery, and glasses for 12 people.
It includes a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine (filter and Senseo), toaster, egg cooker, kettle, immersion blender, and mixer, as well as accompanying baking utensils.
A raclette grill is available for social gatherings.
A small selection of spices is also provided.
Next to the terrace, there is a small herb garden. A covered terrace (with an integrated retractable windbreak) invites you to relax.
The smaller terrace in front of the bedroom tempts you to enjoy the sunset before going to bed. There are 6 garden chairs, 2 loungers, and cushions for all garden furniture are of course provided.
A grill with a smoker is ready for BBQ evenings.
A sandbox in the shape of a pirate ship offers fun and entertainment for children.
There is a lockable storage room for your bicycles.
A wallbox is installed, allowing you to charge your e-car directly at the house.
Billing for this is done directly via credit card payment. An information binder, picture books about the North Sea, a collection of games for bad weather, children's toys, juggling balls, and stunt kites ensure varied leisure activities. We wish our guests a pleasant and relaxing stay. Pets are welcome in this house for an additional cleaning fee! This is a non-smoking house. Parties and events are not permitted in this holiday home.
