The Zettersfeld Alm is located at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters in the magnificent Zettersfeld ski and hiking area – the sun terrace of Lienz.
The beautiful high alpine scenery invites you to an unforgettable holiday. The approximately 70-year-old hut was lovingly renovated by hand in 2022 and equipped with the necessary comforts.
The cozy wood-burning stove with a viewing window provides pleasant warmth (wood is available). In a quiet location on the edge of the forest, on the outskirts of a scattered settlement, you have a wonderful view over the entire Lienz valley floor down to the Carinthian Gate.
Behind the hut, a brick barbecue invites you to shared and relaxing barbecue evenings. An excursion to the beautiful old town of Lienz with many shopping and leisure opportunities is recommended.
The idyllic Tristacher See lake near Lienz invites you for a swim. In summer, the hut can be reached via a well-maintained municipal road.
You can drive up to approximately 50 meters from the hut for loading and unloading.
The last few meters involve a short descent (dirt path). In winter, the hut is located directly in the ski area (access to the ski area is about 50 meters away). Luggage transport with a snowmobile is possible (€10 per trip). You can either drive by car for about 15 minutes (snow chains required, all-wheel drive recommended) or conveniently take the cable car about 8 minutes away and park your car at the valley station.
