Enjoy a unique experience on the calm waters of the Canal du Midi! Moored at the Port-Sud marina in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, the Escapade barge invites you to an unusual, romantic, and comfortable stay just a stone's throw from Toulouse. Conveniently accessible by car via Rue Émile Zola, with easy parking nearby (free public parking).
This barge, designed for two people, offers a warm and spacious interior (ceiling height between 1.75m along the exterior walls and 1.95m in the center of the boat):
- a large, bright living room with a sofa (which can be used as an extra bed on an unconventional mattress), a pellet stove (pellets provided)
- a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals just like at home (no microwave),
- a double bedroom with a private shower room,
- and a separate toilet for added comfort. Reversible air conditioning. Wi-Fi internet access. No television.
On sunny days, enjoy the two furnished terraces: on the front deck, a thatched roof and a high table for enjoying drinks in the sun, and at the rear, a garden lounge shaded by a shade sail, ideal for relaxing after a stroll.
Two bicycles are available, including an electric one, so you can cycle freely along the bike path bordering the canal.
A local atmosphere is guaranteed: every Friday evening, a showboat brings the port to life with its performances. The famous Bikini concert hall is just 1.5 km away, and the Parc de Cinquante, the city's green lung, is within walking distance on the other side of the canal.
