For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike. During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding.
For the more adventurous, there are paragliding centres close by. Children and adults will enjoy the trek through the forest to the Berard waterfall or the Grotte A Farinet cave. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence. The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks.
The famous Montreux Jazz Festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July, and is just 1 hour away. Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets.
For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (10-minute drive) Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.

Apartment was clean and all linen was in good condition. The beds were comfortable and plenty of information about local area in the apartment. Entry instructions very clear, swimming pool and sauna also very clean and well maintained.

Great little apartment which was perfect for our group of five. It was well situated, lovely and warm, easy to reach and had some superb facilities. Whilst staff didn't seem to be on site, they were easily accessible via whatsapp.
