Between 20mn & 30 mn by car : you will be able to visit the remarkable sites which are : -The crystal country of Saint-louis lés Bitche , - The Roman archaeological site of Bliesbruck-Reinheim - Meisenthal and its glassworks famous for its Christmas baubles , -Zweibrücken with its OUTLET platform to browse the many brand boutiques , before a visit to the magnificent Rosengarten ( rose garden ) and its summer activities . --The HASPELSCHIEDT and RAMSTEIN ponds (for nautical pleasures) 1 hour away is STRASBOURG, the European capital and a must-see for holidaymakers in the Grand Est region. HIKING In addition to the hikes in the Regional Park, -A 10-minute walk from your accommodation, signposted by the Club Vosgien, takes you through the forest to the works of the MAGINOT line or the villages of Bitcherland. -In the Palatinate and Alsace, 30 minutes/45 minutes away, discover numerous castles from the medieval era on signposted trails. NB: Hiking equipment can be borrowed from the BITCHE tourist office.
