Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats.
The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building.
The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monument’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005. Persons: 4 persons Rooms: 1 large room with 2 double beds (separated by the sanitary block) Season: all year round Short holidays: none Altitude: 508 metres above sea level Pets: allowed on request Public transport: by SBB to Murten station, then continue by train to Münchenwiler-Courgevaux (then approx. 16 minutes on foot) or by bus to Münchenwiler to the Münchenwiler village stop (approx. 10 minutes on foot). You can also get there by taxi from Murten. Car park: private Outdoor area: garden with private seating area WLAN: available Heating: Central heating with geothermal probe Stove / fireplace: canon stove Kitchen: Capsule machine Extras: The floors are made of wood and stone, which is why we recommend good slippers.
