High above the shimmering waters of Lake Annecy, Le Panorama de Talloires is a recently renovated Savoyard chalet blessed with breathtaking vistas from its balcony and swimming pool.
With a gorgeous view of the lake’s changing light, it’s a haven for nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and those seeking a setting where every view feels like a postcard.
Across three spacious levels, the chalet artfully combines warmth and modernity.
Bay windows and glass doors flood the main level with light, offering uninterrupted lake and mountain views from many rooms.
The heart of the home is an open-plan lounge, dining area and designer kitchen which spill out onto a panoramic balcony and expansive terrace.
It’s here that summer afternoons are best spent beside the large swimming pool or gathered around the al-fresco dining table under the stars.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, five attractive bedrooms across the lower and upper levels ensure restful nights, each with access to either an en suite or shared bathroom.
Le Panorama’s location is as exceptional as its interiors.
Just above the charming village of Talloires, guests are steps from scenic hiking trails and cycling routes.
The lakeside beckons with paddleboarding, swimming and beachside picnics.
Down in the village, a bakery, grocer, cinema and excellent restaurants await, many with terraces overlooking the water.
It’s a short drive or energetic 2.5km walk down to Talloires or consider hiring electric bikes to explore this beautiful area.
With its stunning views, inviting spaces and easy access to the region’s natural splendour, Le Panorama de Talloires promises an unforgettable alpine escape where every moment is framed by the beauty of Lake Annecy.

The house is in a residential area (quiet time is requested between 10pm to 8am).
Talloires village itself is rich in charm and convenience.
It’s around a 20 to 30-minute walk downhill (it will take longer on the way back) or short drive to find a bakery, grocery store and welcoming cycle café (great for hiring electric bikes, perfect for the terrain).
The village is also known for its diverse array of restaurants, from lakeside dining to gourmet cuisine, and even boasts a small cinema showing both international and French favourites.
Just moments from the village, Plage de Talloires (2.5km) tempts with sunny lawns, diving platforms a paddling pool, volleyball courts and a lively pizzeria that hosts live music in the summer months.
Alternatively, nearby Plage d’Angon (4km) offers a quieter spot for swimming and paddleboarding.
Do note that beaches and their facilities tend to operate seasonally and entry charges usually apply for certain lakeside beaches.
For outdoor adventure, the Réserve Naturelle du Roc de Chère provides a mosaic of woodland trails and panoramic lake vistas, while the prestigious Golf du Lac d’Annecy is just a short drive away.
A little further north, the characterful village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard (2.7km) invites exploration with its turreted château, waterfront promenade, lovely shops and enchanting gardens.
Gastronomes should reserve a table at one of Veyrier-du-Lac’s high-end restaurants including the Michelin starred La Maison Bleue par Yoann Conte (7km).
Meanwhile, the vibrant town of Annecy (11.5km), nicknamed the “Venice of the Alps”, offers canalside strolls, vibrant markets, a beautiful lakeside promenade and historical intrigue just a short drive or cycle ride away.
Indeed, with scenic cycling paths encircling the lake, including some traffic-free stretches on the western side, this is a dream destination for cyclists of all levels (the villa is right along the route of a past Tour de France stage in recent years).
