Le Cannet is an important commune in the Alpes-Maritimes region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
It takes place just two kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea, bordering Cannes and Vallauris.
Nicknamed Madeira of France, it reveals a beautiful panorama on the islands of Lérins off the coast. Occupied from the Roman era, the town of Cannet grew from the 15th century with the establishment of families from Italy at the request of the monks of Lérins.
