Welcome to “Simon’s Cottage”, a charming and simple summer house where parts of the movie Simon and the Oaks were filmed.
The cottage is located only 20 metres from the sea, with its own small shoreline and jetty.
Built in 1910, it offers a genuine atmosphere and space for 3 guests with one bedroom and one sleeping alcove.
There is an outdoor toilet, a solar-heated outdoor shower, and a small garden with outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill.
Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet close to nature and the sea. Dogs are welcome, and the lovely view of the bay invites you to morning coffee in the sun and evening swims from the jetty. Things to do in Nösund and the surrounding area: From the cottage, it is just a short walk to the idyllic seaside village of Nösund, known for its restaurants, beaches, and cozy summer evenings.
Visit Nösunds Havsbad or enjoy a meal in the beautiful garden at Nösunds gården. For those who wish to explore more of Orust, there are many gems to discover such as Tavlebords Honey Farm, Hälleviksstrand, Käringön and Gullholmen.
Try camel riding, walk the pilgrim trail, or rent a boat to discover your own coves.
