Formerly a pig farm, later used as a design office by an engineer who worked on the Channel Tunnel, this detached house has been transformed into unique, comfortable, and welcoming accommodation, complete with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping-pong table, and gym (elliptical trainer, treadmill, etc.).
Sleeping 6 people, the cottage offers:
- A separate ground-floor bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm), a double sofa bed (140 cm), a desk, a TV, and a private shower room/WC.
- A shared living area with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.
- A modern duplex: on the lower level, an office and a shower room/WC; upstairs, a lounge area and a bedroom.
The bedrooms offer hotel-style comforts: pod coffee makers, a kettle, complimentary coffee pods and tea bags, shower gel, and shampoo.
The garden and swimming pool provide an ideal setting for relaxing in peace and quiet, while enjoying the countryside just outside Toulouse.
You will have access to a private terrace.
The swimming pool and garden are shared with the owners and guests of a room in their home.
The owners' house is next to the gîte and overlooks the swimming pool (open from May 15th to September 30th). It is possible to rent the gîte and the room for a group of up to 10 people: please contact the owner. Nearby, numerous attractions await you: the historic center of Toulouse, the Cité de l'Espace (17km), the Halle de la Machine and Envol des Pionniers (20km), walks in the Lauragais hills, cycling along the Canal du Midi, local markets, Lake Saint-Ferréol (40km), artisan workshops, and charming villages.
The Cathar village of Verfeil is 5.5km away for shopping, and the Caraman swimming lake is 14.4km away. Whether for a tourist stay, a relaxing weekend, or a business trip, this unusual cottage will appeal to travelers seeking comfort, originality, and tranquility.
