The maisonette has two floors: downstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet, and laundry room. The apartment spans two floors.
On the ground floor, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, and a laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
Upstairs, the spacious living area features an open kitchen, dining table, and a comfortable sitting area; perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, toaster, and cooking essentials. You’ll also enjoy modern amenities such as air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and a smart TV.

Free street parking is available nearby, and long-term stays are welcome. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, Pakhuis Achter offers a unique and homely experience in a piece of Dutch history.

Guest Access:
Guests will enjoy a personal check-in between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, where we’ll warmly welcome you and hand over the keys.
Please note that the accommodation is spread across two floors and stairs are required to access the rooms. Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

The Neighborhood:
The charming village of Wormerveer lies just outside Amsterdam, near the world-famous Zaanse Schans. From here, all of North Holland is within easy reach: in just 10 minutes you can stand among the historic windmills of the Zaan region, in 20 minutes you’ll be in vibrant Amsterdam, or relaxing on the Dutch coast with your feet in the sand.

In Wormerveer itself, there’s plenty to enjoy. Stroll along the famous Zaanbocht, lined with cozy cafés, boutique shops, and beautiful views over the water. From Pakhuis Achter, you can walk to the Zaanbocht in just 5 minutes. The town’s industrial heritage gives it a unique and authentic character.

The train station of Wormerveer is only a 5-minute walk away, offering quick connections to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Zandvoort, and Rotterdam.
If you’re arriving by car, everything is easily accessible, though we recommend taking public transport to Amsterdam as parking fees in the city are notoriously high.

Getting Around:
The Wormerveer train station is just a 5-minute walk away.
Trains depart every 15 minutes to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Haarlem, and Alkmaar.
You can pay for your journey directly with your debit or credit card, or purchase a ticket in advance via the NS app or website.

Other Things to Note:
Using stairs is mandatory in this accommodation.
