Just a few minutes from Aix-en-Provence, Domaine de la Rose Comtesse stands out as a confidential address, ideal for an elegant Provençal escape when the days are mild, nature feels serene, and the region is less crowded.
Nestled in the heart of a preserved 1.7-hectare park, surrounded by pine trees, cypresses, and olive groves, this exceptional estate invites guests to slow down, reconnect, and savour life’s essentials, in an atmosphere of absolute calm and understated refinement. Classified as a 5-star furnished tourist accommodation, the estate offers nearly 500 sqm of living space, spread across a character-filled bastide, a spacious air-conditioned pool house, and a heated swimming pool set within a Mediterranean garden.
Fully restored to the highest standards, in keeping with traditional Provençal architecture, the main house blends the charm of grand family homes with the comforts of a high-end holiday residence.
Antique terracotta tiles, handcrafted wrought iron, lime-plastered walls, and natural materials create an elegant, timeless décor bathed in natural light. From the moment you enter, the separate kitchen reveals itself as a true hub for conviviality and culinary creativity.
A professional cooking range, American-style refrigerator, and premium appliances make it equally suited to long family lunches or refined dinners with friends that linger late into the evening.
The bright living room opens onto the garden and invites relaxation, while the dining room comfortably accommodates large gatherings, perfect for sharing simple yet precious moments. A library lounge offers a more intimate space, ideal for reading, conversation, and quiet moments.
To extend the day in complete privacy, the private cinema room provides a dedicated space for relaxation and entertainment.
A fully equipped laundry room ensures complete autonomy and optimal comfort throughout the stay. The estate features six bedrooms, harmoniously distributed between the garden level and the upper floor. On the garden level, two bedrooms open directly onto the garden, each equipped with a 160×200 cm bed and storage.
They share a contemporary shower room with walk-in shower and stone basin, offering direct outdoor access and a high level of independence. Upstairs, an elegant stone staircase leads to four generously proportioned bedrooms.
The master suite features an en-suite bathroom in natural stone, with both a bathtub and a large walk-in shower, offering soothing views over the park.
Two additional bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub, ideal for a family or children.
The fourth bedroom, slightly set apart, has its own private shower room, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests. Fully air-conditioned room by room and perfectly insulated, the bastide guarantees optimal comfort in every season.
High-quality hotel-grade bedding (160×200 cm) has been carefully selected to ensure restful nights, following days spent exploring Provence, enjoying cultural discoveries, or relaxing at the estate. The outdoor spaces are among the Domaine’s greatest assets.
The heated swimming pool, set within a meticulously maintained Mediterranean garden, allows guests to fully enjoy the mild days of the mid-season.
The 120 sqm air-conditioned pool house, designed as a true extension of the living space, features a fully equipped summer kitchen, a large sheltered lounge, and a convivial dining area opening onto the garden.
It is the perfect setting for shaded lunches, sunset aperitifs, or long dinners under the stars. The mid-season unveils another side of Domaine de la Rose Comtesse: peaceful mornings in the park, excursions to Aix-en-Provence, terrace lunches, relaxing afternoons by the pool, cinema evenings, or convivial dinners in the pool house.
Each day unfolds freely, guided by your own rhythm, in a soft, luminous, and deeply serene atmosphere. To elevate the experience, a bespoke concierge service is available throughout your stay: private chef, massages and wellness treatments, delivery of local produce and wines, organisation of private tours, transfers, childcare, and more.
Every request is handled with care to transform your stay into a fully personalised experience. Entirely enclosed and secure, with discreet video surveillance and private parking, Domaine de la Rose Comtesse is experienced as an exceptional family home — a place to unwind, to share, and to create lasting memories. More than a simple seasonal rental, it is an elegant and confidential retreat, perfectly suited for a mid-season stay in Provence, where nature, light, and the art of living come together. A security deposit of €2,500 will be required at the time of booking and will be fully refunded within five working days after departure, subject to the condition report at check-out. During online check-in, you will also have the opportunity to enhance your stay with personalised options: private chef, mid-stay or regular housekeeping, linen changes, grocery delivery upon arrival, wellness services, and much more.
Everything is designed to adapt to your wishes and to your own way of experiencing Provence.
