Our guesthouse is part of a small farmstead in the old village center of Wintersheim.
We lovingly converted the small outbuilding into guest rooms with great attention to detail.
For the use of ecological building materials, the guesthouse was the first accommodation business in the Mainz-Bingen district to be awarded the "Grüne Hausnummer" (Green House Number). In our guesthouse, you will find two double rooms, which can also be used together as a holiday apartment for up to four people.
Both rooms are equipped with a kettle and a coffee machine.
If you wish, we will spoil you with a breakfast of organic and regional products, which you can also enjoy in our typical Rhenish-Hessian courtyard when the weather is nice. The farm includes a small, romantic garden with herbs and English roses, where you can read, dream, and relax.
If you enjoy traveling on foot or by bike, Rheinhessen offers numerous possibilities: whether it's the nearby Jakobspilgerweg (St.
James' Pilgrim Way), the Rheinterrassenweg (Rhine Terraces Way) along the Rhine Valley, or the typical "rheinhessische Hohlweg" (Rhenish-Hessian sunken lane)... the land of 1,000 hills invites you to explore it on foot or by bike. From Wintersheim, many Rhenish-Hessian attractions can be reached in a short time.
The nearby medieval town of Oppenheim is dominated by the impressive St.
Catherine's Church.
The labyrinth of cellars is initially invisible to visitors – a small city beneath the city, which can be explored as part of a guided tour.
Within about a half-hour drive, you can reach the cathedral cities of Worms and Mainz.
And with seven winemakers in the village, wine enjoyment is not neglected.
There are many opportunities to discover Rheinhessen.

Luggage can be stored outside these hours by arrangement.
If you plan to arrive after 6:00 PM, please send us a short message so we can be personally present for you. Breakfast can be booked optionally (€15 / person).

An extra bed is available on request for an additional charge. Key handover is done in person on-site.
In exceptional cases, contactless key handover via a key safe is possible.
For loading and unloading, please drive your car directly to our house.
Parking is available in a nearby car park within walking distance.

Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub in der Herberge und haben uns wirklich sehr sehr wohlgefühlt . Das liebevoll hergerichtet Frühstück war einfach nur genial .
