The "Hofhaus" is a former farmhouse, comprehensively renovated with respect to energy efficiency and design.
It can accommodate up to 6 guests, with a double bed and a sofa bed in the bedroom, as well as an additional comfortable sofa bed in the living area. The open-plan living and dining area features a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, electric hob, single oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, Senseo coffee machine, kettle, and all essential cooking utensils. The daylight bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower, washer-dryer, and toiletries.
Further amenities include free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a DABPlus radio, central heating, portable fans, and safety equipment (smoke detectors, fire extinguisher) in the building. A travel cot and a high chair are available upon request.
The shared garden area invites for social outdoor hours, and pets are welcome (additional charge applies). Free parking is available nearby, along with five paid parking spaces on the property.

The courtyard estate is centrally located in the heart of the popular Mainz district of Finthen: Guests can reach numerous supermarkets, bakeries, other shops, first-class restaurants, and cozy cafés on foot within minutes.
The connection to the motorway (only a three-minute drive away) and the Mainz city center (only 11 minutes by bus to the main train station) is excellent.
The special feature: Despite its central location in the heart of the Rhine-Main region, guests enjoy a quiet and relaxed atmosphere here – truly a "country idyll in the city." The holiday home "Hofhaus," with one bedroom, one bathroom, and a large living-dining area with an open-plan kitchen, can accommodate up to 6 guests (including sleeping accommodations on comfortable sofa beds). It is therefore ideal for solo travelers, couples, business travelers, or small groups who wish to combine tranquility and nature with an urban flair. Medium and large groups of up to 28 guests have the option to book the "Brunnenhaus" (up to 10 guests) and/or the "Gartenhaus" (up to 14 guests) in addition, provided they are still available on the desired travel date.

Key handover will be done in person on-site or via a key box. A travel cot can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed for a fee of €182 per stay. The house rules will be sent immediately after booking and are part of the booking contract. Garden usage times: 9 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 8 PM (according to official regulations). It is possible to check in flexibly on the day of arrival from 3:30 PM, independently of me. Please inform me of your planned arrival time at least two days before your trip. Arrival by car: You can drive into the courtyard to unload.
Afterwards, up to 5 cars can be parked there permanently for €7 per day or night and car. Arrival by public transport: Take line 55 or 56 from the main train station towards Wackernheim, get off at the "Katzenberg" stop, and continue walking downhill in the previous direction of travel.
The first street on the right is Prunkgasse; it is then about 300 meters to house number 42. The "Hofhaus" is the front holiday home, first entrance; the "Brunnenhaus" is the second entrance; and the "Gartenhaus" is the rear holiday home, right entrance. Important request: Please take off your street shoes inside the house; therefore, feel free to bring thick socks or slippers.
