Helios Room 3 is a light-filled penthouse studio for 2 people in the centre of Conversano, in Puglia.
It is the ideal retreat for a couple looking for a peaceful escape in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. The spacious 3rd-floor studio includes a comfortable double bed and a small kitchenette.
Glass doors lead out to a private balcony where guests can enjoy breakfast at a café-style table. where guests can enjoy breakfast al fresco.
Back inside, the room has good storage, a flat-screen TV, a coffee machine, a kettle and a fridge. Guests have access to an attractive shared living space on the ground floor, which includes a sofa and a large TV. Bathroom The en suite tiled bathroom has a shower, basin, bidet and WC. One of the most striking beaches in Italy is Lama Monachile, Polignano a Mare (15 minutes).
The white sandy beach is small, but the water is clear and a great place for snorkelling. Not to be missed is Alberobello (35 minutes), which looks like something from a fairytale.
It is a town of Trulli - the small, conical houses only found in this part of Italy and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Famous for championing the Slow Food movement, the restaurants and cafés are a must. Shops, cafés and other amenities are all within easy reach.
Conversano’s vibrant, weekly market (Friday morning from 7.30am) is the best place to pick up the best local produce and to shop like a local. The closest airport is at Bari, a 45-minute drive from the residence.
