Located in Sauveterre, this bright Provencal house, with a superb view of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Mont Ventoux, includes: - a bedroom with two single beds (framework double bed 180 x 200); - a second bedroom with two single beds (framework double bed 160 x 200); - a fully equipped kitchen; - two modern shower rooms; - a friendly dining area; - a living room with a sofa bed (140 x 190); - a balcony to enjoy the landscape; - a furnished terrace ideal for meals; - a shady, wooded garden, perfect for relaxing. - an aboveground pool.

Sauveterre is a commune in the Gard department in the Occitanie region, 10 km north of Avignon.
Its territory of 13 km2 is bordered to the east by the course of the Rhone on the right bank and as a result, is bordered by the department of Vaucluse.
It also includes the north of Barthelasse Island, formed by two arms of the river.
Although the ancient city of the popes belongs to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Sauveterre belongs to the community of Greater Avignon.
The proximity of the river leads to rich biodiversity: there is a Natura 2000 site and three protected natural areas.
While the habitat is concentrated in the village to the north and the hamlet of Four to the west, Sauveterre still has a rural environment, including agricultural areas and arable land (35% of its area) and forests (13%).
Remnants attest to a human presence from the Celtic period and later under Roman antiquity.
In the Middle Ages, the parish church of Four and then that of Sauveterre were given by the bishop of Avignon to the abbey of Saint-André de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon (XIIe).
It was then necessary to wait until 1850 for the commune of Sauveterre to be created (and consequently the former parishes united), the north of the territory being detached from Roquemaure.
Today, with around 2,000 inhabitants, Sauveterre highlights its rich heritage and a terroir that is conducive to fruit cultivation, olive oil production and landscapes that are obviously marked by the Rhône valley.
Close to Avignon and its treasures, lovers of hiking will appreciate! From the Gare d'Avignon Centre: 18 minutes by car.
