Elegant bourgeois residence of character from the late 19th century, adorned with a vast veranda, carefully restored and steeped in history (formerly the house of the steward of the neighboring castle), nestled a stone's throw from the heart of a small, typical Bresse village on the edge of a road and meadows, on an exceptionally intimate enclosed property of 9000m² nestled away from view behind a wooded plant barrier.
Pleasant, gentle, preserved surrounding countryside, dotted with ponds and rivers (protected in ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), combining fields, hedged meadows and wild forests, not far from the banks of the Saône (a paradise for fishermen and other kayakers, a natural area protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rare ecosystems). Very comfortable gîte. Ultra spacious.
Warm, country character with a touch of "vintage". A cozy atmosphere enhanced by the historic soul of the place (superb timber framing, beams, wooden staircase, marble and brick fireplace mantels, magnificent stone and brick fireplace mantel... from the period). Enormous charm.
Pleasant, large terrace opening onto a magnificent, vast lawned park populated by century-old trees, carefully planted and flowered, with a swimming pool (covered under a dome) and a pétanque court. Composition: Detached house.
Wi-Fi (fiber). Gas central heating + fireplace.
Ground floor: kitchen, living room, TV lounge, veranda lounge, music room/library (with piano), 2 bedrooms (double bed 200x200cm / double bed 160x200cm), bathroom (shower/WC), separate WC. 1st floor: 5 bedrooms (3 with 1 double bed 160x200cm / double bed 200x200cm / double bed 160x200cm + single bed 90x190cm) including 2 adjoining with a private bathroom (shower/bath/WC), games/relaxation room (with TV), bathroom (bath), separate WC. Enclosed park (9000m²) + terrace + swimming pool (9x5m / sheltered under a dome) + pétanque court + ping-pong + swing + badminton/volleyball net + private parking.
