These lodges are always very clean, unfortunately this visit was spoiled by the smell of dog, especially on the sofa. I know it is a pet lodge, but I have stayed in several of the pet lodges, even though I don't have a pet myself, and never had the smell of dog before. We also had a small invasion of ants in the bathroom, which we managed to control with some ant spray that was provided.

The lodge had everything you possibly needed for a great stay. We felt like it was nice and secluded so you weren’t overlooked when in the hot tub and the extra bonus of seeing the ducks everyday was the highlight for our children.

The hot tub was huge, bed was comfy, shower was powerful. Could do with a bigger tv and the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes but other than that we couldn’t fault it
