Welcome to our comfortable cottage, located in the beautiful Puisaye-Forterre region, in Bitry (Nièvre). You'll find peace, comfort, and authenticity in a verdant setting ideal for rejuvenation.
We live on the property, but your terraces, garden, and pétanque court are completely private (30 meters away). On the ground floor, the cottage offers a large, welcoming open-plan kitchen and dining area, perfect for preparing meals while chatting with guests around a large table.
A separate living room with sofas and a television invites you to relax, whether reading or watching a film.
The entrance hall features a foosball table, perfect for fun times, and a WC completes this floor.
Upstairs, five bedrooms each have their own shower room with shower and WC, while two other bedrooms (adjoining) share a bathroom/WC. Four bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed (140x190cm); two bedrooms each have two single beds (90x190cm); and one bedroom has a queen-size bed (160x200cm). Outside, you can enjoy an open garden with a terrace, relaxation area, and pétanque court, as well as a barbecue for your summer meals.
Horses are kept on the property (electric fence). The cottage also has private parking, Wi-Fi access, and provides board games and local books. Horse boarding available (maximum 6 horses) with a shelter in the meadow, pasture, and hay for €15/night/horse. Motorcycles can be stored in the barn.
Maximum 7 people for business stays. Just 15 minutes from the Guédelon medieval construction site and the Château de Saint-Fargeau, and 5 minutes from Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, the pottery capital.
Here, escape to the rhythm of the birds, the neighboring horses, and the garden flowers.
Hiking trails and jogging routes are accessible right from the doorstep. 20 minutes from the Maison de Colette and 30 minutes from the Sancerre vineyards.
Bachelor and bachelorette parties are not permitted.
