Located in a truly idyllic setting, this charming, over 100-year-old former farmhouse has been lovingly restored and converted into welcoming rural accommodation.
It offers guests a peaceful and relaxing retreat surrounded by nature.
The property features 2 swimming pools: an indoor heated pool at 28°C and a private outdoor pool measuring 5m x 2.7m, complete with garden furniture, sun loungers, and a parasol, perfect for al fresco dining and sunny afternoons. Location and Exterior Just a short walk away is the hamlet of El Acebuchal (800m), a unique, “off-the-beaten-track” destination where tranquility reigns.
However, within a 15-minute drive, you can reach the white village of Frigiliana (7km), and in 25 minutes, the beaches of Nerja.
El Acebuchal has a fascinating history.
Situated in a beautiful valley within the Sierras de Tejeda and Almijara Natural Park, the village was abandoned in 1949 during the Franco regime.
It lay in ruins until 1998, when a descendant of one of the original families began restoring a house.
Since then, 32 homes, the town hall, chapel, bar, and cobblestone streets have been lovingly rebuilt, restoring the hamlet to its original charm.
Today, El Acebuchal is a haven of peace with no shops, but with a renowned bar-restaurant serving traditional local dishes such as game, wild boar, and goat.
Access is via a winding mountain road, with the last 2km being an unpaved track.
In Frigiliana, you will find small supermarkets, numerous shops, and a wide selection of tapas bars and restaurants.
Larger supermarkets and petrol stations are located in Nerja, 14km from the house.
The surroundings are ideal for walkers, with pine forests, thyme, and rosemary scenting the hillsides.

Tranquilidad del lugar, paisaje increíble, la casa es muy acogedora. Fuimos con nuestros niños y también disfrutaron mucho, sobre todo en la piscina climatizada que fue la que usamos, porque no hacía mucho calor para usar la exterior .
